Your Voice Counts

Your Voice Counts are Keeping People Connected in South Tyneside during Coronavirus crisis.

At Your Voice Counts we are doing our best to support people at this difficult time. We want to help people stay safe, healthy and not feel alone.

Our Keeping People Connected service is FREE and available now for people with learning disabilities and/or autism who need support. We are here if you need to chat. We can call you regularly if you are worried or need support to get food or medication.

If you are aged 11-19 years old and are experiencing any of the following:

  • Emotional health distress
  • Bullying
  • Problems with physical health
  • Self-harm
  • Low mood
  • Exam stress
  • Stress/problems with relationships

Please send a message to a school nurse on 07480635607 for advice and support.

This service is confidential and noone including parents would be informed unless you wish that to be the case. If we felt concerned for your safety and had to inform someone, we would always ask you first.

Your messages will be stored and can be seen by other healthcare staff who follow the same rules of confidentiality.
